Secretary of War Pete Hegseth visited Texas A&M as part of his “Send Me” tour, addressing the university’s Corps of Cadets and highlighting its long tradition of military service.
Hegseth emphasized what he described as a renewed focus on merit, standards, training and readiness under the Trump administration.
The Texas visit was also part of Hegseth’s “Arsenal of Freedom” tour, which focuses on strengthening the U.S. defense industrial base and workforce.
